Bright mid blue powdered dye ideal for melt-n-pour soaps and most foaming aqueous products. Not alkali stable.

Turns reddish-purple in cold process soaps and will fade in bath bombs.

Extended InformationDissolves in water giving a bright mid blue in melt-n-pour soaps and most foaming aqueous products. Turns reddish-purple in cold process soaps. Very fine powder that goes a long way. When used to colour bath bombs this colour will fade over time.

Picture is of product diluted in water which is how it is intended to be used.

To make a concentrate use at approximate maximum of 5% by weight in 95% water.

Full description... FD&C Blue No.1 has E number, E133 with color index of 42090. It is also called Acid Blue 9, D&C Blue No. 4, Alzen Blue No. 1, Atracid Blue FG, Erioglaucine, Eriosky blue, Patent Blue AR and Xylene Blue VSG.

The strength of colour obtained from any dye or pigment is dependent upon the concentration used. Using concentrated dyes or pigments may result in deep colour that can bleed from the product in use and/or discolour surfaces.
